Project Cancellation
There is no subscription to cancel. This page explains how you can cancel a project, and what happens to amounts already paid.
Last updated: 19 September 2026
There is nothing recurring to cancel
Your project has no subscription, no monthly fee and no automatic renewal. Nothing is ever charged to you automatically, so there is no billing to switch off and no cancellation deadline to meet.
The portal fee is charged once for a project and counts toward that project's deposit. It is not a recurring charge and never repeats within a project; a separate project commissioned later carries its own portal fee.
How to cancel a project
You may ask to cancel your project in writing, at support@meedagency.com, with your project reference, at any time before it is deployed. There is no button in the portal that ends a project, and there is no automated process behind one.
Cancellation takes effect once we confirm it to you.
Cancelling before work starts
Any refundable amount is based on the amounts actually received, less non-refundable third-party and payment-processing costs where they apply. Your mandatory legal rights are not affected.
Cancelling after work starts
A full refund is not automatic. We may keep the amount corresponding to the work already completed. Any remaining eligible refund is calculated from the project's progress and the work completed up to the cancellation.
Completed custom work and assets may remain chargeable. Third-party costs already paid or committed for your project are not automatically refundable.
After final deployment
Once your website has been deployed, project cancellation no longer applies. Later problems are handled under the 14-day post-deployment support described in our Terms, or as separate paid work.
What else stays true
You are never charged for a payment that has not been requested. If your project stops before the balance is requested, that balance is simply never requested.
What has already been credited to your project stays on your payment record, and any refund is recorded there as our Refund Policy describes.
Cancelling a project does not delete your account, your onboarding answers, your media or your development preview. Nothing is removed automatically.
A paused project is not a cancelled project
If a project is paused because we have not heard from you for 30 consecutive calendar days, it is not cancelled. Our Terms explain how a pause works.
Coming back
If you want to restart a stopped project, write to support@meedagency.com. We will tell you what is still usable and prepare new commercial terms if the scope has moved on.
